We, the committee of Christmas celebration with MKIS (Masyarakat Kristiani Indonesia di Singapore/Indonesian Christian Communities in Singapore) celebrating Christmas and new year together. This year, the celebration will be held at KBRI Singapura (Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Singapore) at 13 January 2018, 3:30-7:30 PM. In this coming joint Christmas celebration, we fundraise to help our brothers and sisters who are in needs and the organizations which are working in education and community services. This year, we saw a lot of natural disasters in Indonesia such as the Mount Agung eruption in Bali and the flood in some areas, also the earthquake in Tasikmalaya. We want to proclaim the joy to our brothers and sisters who are the victims of natural disasters.
Proclaiming Great Joy To The Nation, The Joint Christmas committee.
I am Singaporean but my partners are Indonesian. So, when I attend The Christmas Celebration for all Indonesian churches in Singapore, I am always really happy and I realize that God always touches people using their unique way.
I always feel blessed every time I come to MKIS Christmas Worship and Celebration in the beginning of each year with all Indonesian Christian citizens in Singapore. This activity always cultivates my new hope and gratitude towards a new year.
MKIS Christmas is a very much-awaited activity because we as Christians can gather together once a year apart from different denomination to unite together to celebrate the coming of the Lord Jesus into a human being.
I feel 100% Christian and 100% Indonesian by joining Christmas Celebration with MKIS. It always gives me and opportunity to contribute my talents to be part of the committee volunteer.
